IN DIVORCE.
HINGSTON V. HiNGSTON. This was a case in which Philip Hingston, storekeeper, of Foxhill, prayed for divorce from his wife, Johanna Maria Elizabeth Hingston, on the grounds of desertion. Mr Maginnity appeared for petitioner. There was no defence filed. The petitioner stated that he was married to respondent on March 30th, 1885, and in December 18th, 1898, she left home. In Ferbuary, 1900, he heard through some letters that she was in Ohristchurch, and he went in search of her, but was unable to find her. Heard that she was at Cable Bay about a month ago. There had been unpleasantness at home prior to respondent leaving, because she cared more for another man. His Honor granted a decre nisi to be made absolute in three months.
