Sydney, January 4. j A domestic tragedy has occurred at ; Waterloo, a suburb of Sydney. Aj t man named James Minehan killed j his wife with an axe. He was arrested in the street while attempting ' to cut his throat. His injuries are ' serious. He had been drinking ] heavily. ' A young married woman named Bennett, and he? three children, have been found dead near Singleton (in the Northern district). It is supposed that the mother poisoned, the children aDd then herself.
