FEDERAL HOCKEY CLUB.

Delegates to Association : Messrs Brown and Hogg. The Secretary reported that he had received an invitation from the Addington Olub for a team to visit Christchurch. After some discussion it was resolved that consideration of the matter of sending away a team be postponed till later in the season. Resolved that in the event of a player breaking more than'one stick at practice or cup matches during the. season that player be allowed the, sum of ten shillingsResolved that the delegates < bring before the Association the desirablenesss of providing proper goal-posts and nets. Resolved that playing members be required to provide themselves with jerseys showing the club colors, red and white. Resolved to open the season tomorrow, the Nelson Club and other hockej players to be invited to take part. After a general conversation on matters pertaining to the game, the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chairman.
