'Auckland, May 2. . For, the first day of the Auckland Trotting Club's Autuiiin Meeting the weather was fine, and- there was a large attendance, the meeting being most successful, The totalisator receipts for the day amounted* to £2458, two dividends being paid for the first time at the club's meeting. The results were : — Maiden Trot: Imperator 1, Nat Gould 2, Le Eosier 3 ; dividends, £1 17s and £1 9s. Stewards' Trot: Durbar 1, Occidental 2, Pioke 3 ; dividend, £3 14s. Autumn Handicap: Whaiwhai 1. Annoyed 2, Cuisine 3 ; dividend, £2 3s. Middle-class Trot: Le Grande 1, George 2, Duchess of Rothschild 3 : dividend, £4 18s. Pony Trot : Little Paul 1, Daystar 2, Wairiri 3; dividends, £3 and Bs. Northern Trot: Little Ben 1, Sir Robert 2, Rosalind 3 ; dividends, £2 11s and 15s. Flying Handicap : Orange and Blue 1, "Whisper 2, Annoyed 3; dividends, £2 'ss< and 19s.
