NELSON CRICKET ASSOCIATION
Ti e annual general meeting takes plaae at the Masonic Hotel this evening at balfpa<3t seven o'olook. Ah the business sheet is a heavy one, the meeting will commence paootually to time. The following notioea of motion will be anbmitted to the delegate* at the meeting of tbe Association this evening : — " That owing to the diffioultiea experienced by Town Clubs in satisfactorily fulfilling 1 their all day engagements with the Country 1 Clubs, and to the faot that orioketers in general do not wish to be bound down to " playing championship matohes npon every holiday, it is desirable that the present eastern of championship matohes should be reconstituted, and that the Orioket Associn--1 tion should ,be divided into districts under the sole control of the Nelson Orioket Abbo* oiation, each district to play two round of championship matches, the premier Club of eaoh district branoh to play off for tha possession of the ohampionsbip." " That the districts be divided as follows : —Country diltriot — Belgrove, Wakefield, Wanderers and Richmond Globs, and any other Club that may become affiliated to ihe Association. Town di«triot— Nelson, College Athletic, United, and Wakapnaka OlabB." " That two Town and Country representative matohes at least take plaoe during eaoh season, one to be plajed in the country, and tha other in the town district, a third or deciding match to be played if necessary." " That all m etches ba arranged by an Exeoutive Committee of the Nelson Cricket As9ooiat:oi consisting of one delegate frotn eeoh Associated Club." _ " That tbe above resolutions shall not affect Junior teams or Club*."
