This Club" held it* annual meeting at the Commercial Hotel on Thoroday eveniog, Mr A. MoKellar Wii presiding. the Committeo reported upon the events of hst year. The report referred to the Club's reoords of laßt season, mentioned their misfortune in losing Richardson, and added that during the coociag season they would miss J. H. HaikneA, their oliest member. Boor ; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr 8. Levien (reelected) , Committee, Messrs Booth, Traak, N. Levien, Walker, and Wiz (three to form a quorum ; Delegates to the Association, Messrs Traak and S. Levien , t Eight new members were then proposed, and duly elected. The matter of re -organising ike present syetem of Championship matches waa then brought before the meeting by Mr Walker, who spoke very strongly upon the necessity for a obange. He thought the resolution tc be brought before the Cricket Association should apply to Juniors also. He moved that the Club's delegate support the motion, Messrs Trask and P. Ciob& supported the proposed alteration, whioh, after further' discus sion,. was carried unanimously* ■-■■ It was resolved to raise the subscription for Seniors to 12a 6d, and leave the Juniori at Ss. The delegates to the Association were instructed to make enquiries upon the subjeot aod also, to effect a much needed alteratior in the present method of selecting represen tative teams. It was suggested that one competent man would be the best method. It was mentioned that several country plajers would, in all probability, beoomi members of the Club. It was reported that a number of trophiei would be given for competition during thi present season. The meeting then terminated, after a vot of thanks to Mr Wiz for. presiding.
