SHIP IN DISTRESS.
'.■ Sydnky, September 26. The ship Mary Blundell, which left Sydney a month ago for Mauritius, has put back. She met with a terrific gale from the Ist till the 16th September. A sea smashed the boats to matchwood, and the captain, chief ofQcer, and a number of the crew narrowly escaped being washed overboard. One man was seriously injured. The water got below an(J thejvessel was seriously damaged. She bore up for Sydney.
