THE HOSPITAL BALL.
The ball in aH of the Hospital funds tok * ilaoe in the Provincial Hall last night, and ' iroved, in every reepeot, a compute success. ( 'hanks to the executive committee the ball ' oom was decora' ed with great tit to, ani the ' withdrawing rooms were most comfr rtabl.r irranged. The floor was in good order, and he music supplied ty the piivate orchestra, rhich volunteered its services, was admirable. Che orchestra was composed as follows : — fiolin, Miss Levy ; cornet, Mr E. Bird ; ilaronet, Mr Davies ; piccolo, Mr Pollard : loub'e bas3, Mr Martm ; and piano Mr H. ?inney. Supp r was laid in the Courthouse, md the tables were replete with all kinds cf lelioacies. Everything went extremely well, md the general verdict wa=i that ihs ball proved" a thorough succea?. The several jommittees are to be complimented on the nanner in which they carried out their hdr respectiva duties. Thsre were close on .wothundred persons present, and the dresses generally were very handsome.
