MEMORIAL SERVICE AT THE CATHEDRAL.
Last evening a sp?cial service was he'd afc the Cathedral in memoriam of the missionaries recently killed by the Chinese at Ku Cheng, when there waa a fairly large congregation. The Rev. J. P. Kempthorne read the first lesson, which was taken from Isaiah lv, commencing, "Ho, every one that thirsteth." and the Rev E. P. Caohemaille read tho second lesson, whioh was taken from Ephesians. His Lordship the Bishop delivered an address, in the course cf which he spoke ot the recent massacre pointing out the hand of God. The Rev E. P. Oachemaille also gave an effective address, b sed on the pasßuga from the 2nd verse of the Ist chapter of Joshua, "My servant iB dead " He spoka of the hon;r G^d had done those He had called home, and how the work would cot stand still as He always had workers ready to fill places rendered vaoan r . During the service three appropriate hymns were sung, and at its conclusion the Bishop pronounced the benediction.
