FOOTBALL PRACTICE.
The Seleotion Committee of the Nelson Rugby Union met laat evening and selected the following plßyers to praotioe on Saturday afternoon next in view of ee'eotion for the Nelson representative team against Auckland on September 2 : -" A " team—Fullbaok McDonald ; tbreequarters, Broad, Hall, Neßbitt, Hunt aod Whitwell ; halves, Shallorass, Higains ; wings, Whiting, H. Bolton ; forwards, Hale, Clear, Glover, H Barnett, Hounsell, Cooper, C. Barnett Bnsoh, Dykeß, Milner. "B " team — Fullbaok. Papps ; threequarters, Talbot, Harper, H Sigley, Dee, L Ingham ; halves, Major, Mills ; wings, Hogg, Krabagan ; forwards, J. Neßbitt, Sanders, N. Levien, Frauk, E. Clouston, Mabin, Perceval, Na'der, Denoker, Sutton. The Committee propose to seleofc the team oo Saturday evening, and to those of tbe above who desire consideration, it is obviously neoessary that they should be present at the praotioe.
The following will represent the Pirates in their match with the College (Junior Cup) in Trafalgar Park on Saturday afternoon : — Meaßrs Liley, Spencer, Tebßin, Nevil, Hall. Brown, Barnetv, Ball, Brogden, Brown Allen, Smith, Friend, Remnant, ; emergeneias, Meßsrs Brown, May, Goodman, Ross.
