AUSTRALIAN SMELTING CO.
It is stated that tbe Australian Smelting Company is already negotiating for the supply of 150,000 tons of round ooal from the Illawarra pits *, also that the Broken Hill Proprietary Company is considering the ereotion of large smelting works in the district.
