PAYMENT OF MEMBERS IN N.S.W.
Syunet, May 27. The argument b.fore the full Court on the que -tion of the legality of payment of members of the Legislative Assembly has commenced. Tbe point set up was tbat the Legislative Assembly was not a continuous body, and that payment merely referred to the Assembly which passed the Bill. So far, the trend of the judges' remarks has been in the direotion that the Assembly is a continuous institution although its personnel may change. Argument ia proceeding.
