Mr Reid fays their action plays right into the hands of tbe Government, and he is grieved to see Sir Henry Parkes so basely beir&y principles, and his opponents abandon their cause to Buoh a shifty leader. Negotiations, whioh have every likelihood of proving buocessful, are proceeding for re-uniting the two sections' of the Labor Party.
