Charges Dismissed.
Donkdin, May 9. At the Polioe Court to-day. charges of breaohes ot tbe Beer Duty Aot against 0. F. Greenslade, of Speight and Co., and against a young man named Davics were dismissed. Davieß had takn an empty c»sk from a Rrocer in the > o.4yn district to the b'ewery to be filled, an I seeing the cask in tbe yard when he returned, he took it away, the eelltraian bt the time being away to get a stamp. The ttamp was sent, but was cot properly affixed by tbe grocer.
