LOYAL NELSON LODGE.

The annual summoned meeting of the brethren of the Loyal Nelson Lodge, 1.0.0. F. M.U., was held on Jan. 14th in the net? Lodge room, Waitnea street, whan there was a large attendance. The Auditors report and toe balance sheet were presented, and from these it appeared that the total amount to credit of the Sick and Funeral Fund at the present time is £4013 4s 2d, being an increase of £31 14s 6d during the half year. Within the period named £98 15s was paid to the doctors in addition to £239 bisbursed as sick pay to members, the amount exceeding the average owing to the prevailing epidemic of influenza. There is also standing to the credit of the Management fund £3.2 5s 9d, being an increase of £5 183. The total amout of the Lodge funds is £4030, a sum bringing in slightly more than sis per oent interest, and the number of members is now 240, showing an increase of 15 during the half-year. The Provincial Grand Master, Bro W. Moves, paid a visit to the Lodge, and he duly installed the following officers, viz :— Q.N, W Dane; N.G, R Kraghen ; B.S, A Wimßett ; Guard, J Both well ; Treasurer, H Edwards ; P.S, G J? Smallbone. Dr LeggaU was unanimously re-eleoted Surgeon, and the following delegates to the Distriot meeting to be held on the 28th inst were appointed: — Bros H Walkey, T Wimsett. H Wilkins, R Kraghen, and J Rothwell. Bro H Wilkins, Secretary of the Wakatu Juvenile Lodge was presented with a set of Past Grand's regalia, in recognition of his valuable services in connection with tha Juvenile Lodge.
