Beer Duty, £112 17s 9d, Closed. — The premises of O. Smith, the Caßh Draper, will be dosed to-morrow. The salvage goods will be ready for sale on Wednesday.— Ad vfc. Smith, the Cash Draper.— Advt Limb Light Exhibition. — The Help Myself Society has arranged with Mr Holland for the exhibition of a large number of very fine views, and the exhibition will take nlace in the Theatre Royal to-morrow evening. The views will inolude a series illustrative of a tour through the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland, some exquisite visws of Irish eceaery, statuary, and effect scenes including the loss of the Birkenhead, a street fire in London, and a series of seventeen view 3 illustrating Dickens well known story of G&brifl Grub. A really high c'ass ex hibitian is promised, and as we understand it will be the last that will bo given under the auspices of the Sooiety named for a considerable time, it should be witnessed by a large audience. The Labor Crisis— United Pbaykr.— An invitation from the Bishop of Nelson to attend at the Cathedral on Wednesday next, for the purpose of united prayer .and intercession, waa read in most of the churches last evening. In his letters to the clergy the Bishop intimated that it was because of the present serious crisis in connection with labor that the service is to be held. Half past seven was mentioned as the hour of commencement, but we have authority for stating that eight o'clock had now been decided upon, as more generally convenient, Further details as to the arrangements will be given before Wednesday night. Service at the Post. — The announcement that his Lordship the Bishop would hold a service at the Port Mission Room resulted in a number of people gathering together there last evening. Hi 3 Lordship gave an earnest address on prayer and Jesus the teacher of prayer, taking his text from the 11th chapter of St. Luke v. 1.
