We gave, in our last issue, the masterly and searching judgment of Mr. Warden Kynnersley, on the vexed question of the prospectors' claim at Wangapeka, a judgment which exhibits a well-grounded knowledge of the principles of equity, and of that fair justice which convinces masses of men. We have formerly criticised some of Mr. Kynnersley's acts. It affords us pleasure to testify to the marked ability his late decision displays; and we may congratulate the Province on the Warden's resumption of office. In to-day's paper we give a full report of the case, which, ably argued though it was on the other side, resulted, as our readers know, in Culliford and party obtaining a prospectors' claim.
