London", September 25.—The arrivals comprised 58,583 bales from Sydney, 64,003 from Victoria, 8855 from Tasmania, 50,960 from New Zealand, 11,864 from South Australia, 480 from Swan Hirer, and 31,382 from the Cape of Good Hope— total, 226,127 bales; 41,504 bales have been with* drawn, of which 17,600 remained in first hands. The general character of the wool is faulty. Superior wool was sold at 2d. under June rates ; medium 3d. lower; inferior, especially Queensland ,'Sydney, Rivnrina, and South Australia, with which the market was glutted, was 4d. lower. For next series, 42,605 bales, had arrived, and 2500 came to hand afterwards. The Some ffetos, of Ootober 9, tays: —" For the next series of London wool 5a1e5—14,964 bales Fort Phillip, 1357 bales.
