LATEST MARKETS,
The Melbourne Herald, of Nor. 24, reports the sale of 35 tons of flour (Victoria) at £13.125. Gd.The same paper of Nor. 25, says:—"By auction 60 tons Victorian mills quitted at. from £13 10s.' to £13 12a. 6d. terms, and privately we hear of a sale of 49 tons having; been completed at £14, three months. Wheat is somewhat firmer al 6.». 3d. to 6s. 6d., but no.sale of importance has come under our notice. A parcel of 3000 bushels New Zealand bran brought by auction Is. 3i. to Is. 3|d. Maize, 4s. 3d. to 4s. 6d. per bushel. Oats are pret y steady at the old quotation of 3s. 9d. for Tasmanian, and about 3s. 7|d. ifor New Zealand. A good inquiry has been experienced for cornsacks, and there hare been a good many sales reported ut 123. 6d. By auction about 1500 boxes of candles were sold; sound brought -lOfd., and damaged from' 9|d- to 10|d. SugarsV continue remarkably firm; 7715 basts disposed bf auction to-day, at prices which fully maintain "the late advance. Pine, white Crystals brought £39, ; and middling sorts from £35 15s.- to £36 10s, per toy. Adelaide, Norember 21.—The corn market continues actire. Sales are reported of 100 tons of flour, town brands, nt £13 10s.; and largo sale* of country brands at £12 to £12 58. . :' --
