PLUNKET MOTHERHOOD
MEETING OF TE AWAMUTU BRANCH The club had another large gathering at the home of Mrs. R. Salmond on September 6. The speakers of the evening were four club members. Mrs. A. Roberts gave a demonstration of the correct method of cleaning teeth, Mrs. Watson gave a comprehensive talk on the Guide movement in New Zealand, Mrs. Lloyd Lees demonstrated the technique of taking temperature, pulse and respiration, and Mrs. Gormley closed the short talks by relating some of her experi* ences as a Karitane nurse. As the club has grown so rapidly, it was decided by the committee, at Mrs. Salmond’s kind suggestion, to hold all meetings at her home. Plans for the November garden party were set moving, and after supper the meeting ended.
