WATER POLO

TE AWAMUTU SWIMMING CLUB PRACTICE WITH VISITING CLUB The Te Kuiti water polo team will be paying a return visit to Te Awamutu on the week-end and although this is the first year the southern club has entered a team they should offer fairly strong opposition. The Polo Board are keen to see Te Kuiti' enter a team in the Waikato competitions and with further practice games it is hoped they will forward their nomination. The annual match with Morrinsville will also bo played on the same day. Morrinsville and Te Awamutu are friendly rivals in most sports anl water polo is no exception. This friendly rivalry over the past four years has helped both clubs to settle down early in the season.
