A brief history of the dairying industry in the Dominion after the first world war and since the inception of the’’guaranteed price plan was covered in a very interesting manner by the chairman of the Dairy Products Marketing Commission, Mr W. Marshall, during an address in Hamilton this week. His comments in regard to the present world position and the trend to lower dairy produce prices provided food for tnought. Appreciation of Mr Marshall’s address was expressed by several speakers, Mr B. C. O’Connor congratulating Mr Marshall on his “brilliant exposition of the difficulties of the industry in the period between the two wars and his clear picture of the present world position.”
