HAMILTON STOCK SALE At the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited weekly stock.sale held at Hamilton yesterday a smaller entry of fat -wethers was penned, and prices were well in advance of recent quotations, while a large entry of fat ewes showed firmer values. Ox beef was again penned in good numbers, and comprised mostly medium weight bullocks. The demand was keen, and values were firm to slightly firmer. An average eptry of cow and heifer beef was • mostly lighter .weight, was in very strong demand and values again rose for prime pens. A light yarding of fat pigs and a medium entry of store and weaner pigs was penned, baconers and porkers remaining firm at recent quotations. Store and weaner pigs also sold at unchanged rates. Sheep: Prime heavy woolly wethers 74s to 78s 6d, others 66s to 71s, medium 60s to 645, light 55s to 58s, heavy shorn wethers 63s to 675, prime 58s to 61s, medium 53s to 565, light •47s to 51s, heavy fat ewes 30s to 33s 9d, medium 26s to 28s 6d, light 22s to 255.

Cattle: Heavy prime bullocks £27 15s to £29 ss, medium £25 to £27, lighter £2l to £24, plain and unfinished £lB 5s to £l9 15s, heavy fat cows £l6 15s to £l7 10s, medium prime heifers £l9 7s 6d tp £2O 10s, lighter £l7 10s to £lB 7s, small £l2 10s to £l5 15s.

Pigs: Heavy choppers £6 10s to £8 10s, others £3 10s to £6, prime heavy baconers £6 15s to £6 17s, heavy £6 10s to £6 12s, medium £5 16s to £6 Bs, light £5 5s to £5 12s, porkers and buttermilk pigs £4 to £5 2s, large stores £3 10s to £3 15s, smaller £3 to £3 Bs, slips £2 5s to £2 12s, weaners 25s to £2 2s, sows in farrow £4 10s to £8 10s, service boars £4 to £6.
