ANNUAL GYMKHANA
THIS SATURDAY’S ATTRACTION An excellent opportunity for families to spend Saturday in picnic like fashion amidst delightful country surroundings only a miie away from the town is afforded town and district residents when on Messrs Morrison Bros, property on Park Road the annual gymkhana of the Te Awamutu Light Horse Association will be held The spacious grounds afford ample car parking space surrounding the competition rings and an uninterrupted view can be had of all events. Entries from practically every town in the Waikato have been received and spectators are assured of seeing some excellent jumping for the cream of competing ponies and hunters will be seen in action. Fancy-dress events will add a splash of colour while the loud-speakers will enable all to be kept fully informed as to the progress of events. Light luncheons, ice creams etc. will be available so that a happy time is looked forward to.
