MEETING OF THE BOARD THE GRAZING RIGHTS At a meeting of the Kawhia Domain Board, there were present Messrs W. T. Lentfer (chair), I. Davies, G. Davies, L. Ward, T. A. Graham, S. B. Sifleet, E. R. Hone, A. W. Jonathan and B. O’Reilly-Nugent. It was decided that the fees for use of the Domain for the past season be football five guineas, and basketball two guineas. It was decided to ask the Rugby Union to make a donation towards upkeep and improvement of the football area. It w|as decided to call for tenders for the lease of grazing rights on the Domain on same terms as previously; Mr O’Connor to have the right to run his cows on the Domain till a tender was accepted.
