TRANSIT HOUSING
COMMITTEE’S RECOMMENDATIONS THREE MORE HOUSES TO BE ERECTED The following minutes of a meeting of the Transit Housing Committee held recently were before Monday night’s meeting of the Te Awamutu Borough Council and were confirmed: That the sub-committee be asked to give Mr Ford a list of materials, etc., which will be supplied and upon that basis Mr Ford be asked to submit a price for three houses. Cr Russell reported to the committee that there was not a great deal of material left; there was approximately enough for one house only. The committee decided that the houses be sited as follows, one at the Pound site and two in Mangahoe Street (nursery). There, was no discussion on the report.
