CHURCHILL STREET
RECOMMENDATIONS OF WORKS COMMITTEE ADOPTED BY BOROUGH COUNCIL The following recommendations of the Works Committee relative to Churchill Street were adopted by the Borough Council without discussion on Monday night:— That the State Advances Corporation and Mr O’Leary be. given notice to repair the fence and cease using via Churchill Street as an entrance. That it be recommended that the right hand side of. Churchill Street be kerbed and channelled to a point half a chain beyond the transit house, the house frontages be filled with black earth and the pot holes be filled with rubble. That it be recommended that the, left hand side be kerbed and channelled and the footpath be extended up to the first electric power pole, and arrangements be made to have the frontages rotary hoed after which to be filled with black soil and the holes on the edge of the road to be filled. That it be recommended ■ that concrete paths to the flats be done at a later date.
