Boys For Flock House
Fifteen British boys, sons of exservicemen, are to arrive in New Zealand next May to begin a course of farm training at Flock Jlouse, near Bulls. The boys are being selected in Britain by an advisory committee. Founded as a memorial to the invaluable services rendered to the Dominion by British seamen in the first World War, the Flock House Scheme was financed by contributions by New Zealand sheep farmers totalling nearly £250,000. Under it more than 600 boys were brought from Britain for farm training.
