R.S.A. BALL
DANCERS ATTEND IN LARGE NUMBERS A large crowd of dancers from all parts of the district were present at the R.S-A. Ball held in the Town Hall on Tuesday night. Once again' a large band of willing and enthusiastic workers essayed to present the Town Hall in an attractive manner and they attained success in that direction; palms and flags being used with artistic effect. A large R.S.A. badge at the Roche Street end of the Hall added the appropriate touch. The Swing Stars Orchestra provided the music, while George Vercoe’s Orchestra supplied the extras. The masters of ceremonies were Mr F. Langdon and Mr J. Baxter, and they spared no efforts to ensure that patrons had a good time. Novelty danees of an attractive nature added to the enjoyment of all. An excellent supper was served. The supper room was pleasingly decorated with poppies and other flowers. The committee responsible for the Ball is to be congratulated on the success achieved.
