Visit of Dominion President
Mrs Elliott, Dominion President of the W.D.F.F., will visit Te Awamutu on Thursday. She will address local district members in the Parish Hall on that day, when a large attendance is hoped for. Discreetly Gallant Even a Government return bows to the inevitable. The latest supplement to the Gazette lists the persons employed in the Public Service. It gives their salaries, allowances, maximum salaries to which they may aspire, and the month and year of birth. But when any female member of the staff is mentioned, the month and year of birth are discreetly passed over with a row of dots.
