OTOROHANGA VISITS TE AWAMUTU

On Saturday eight teams from the Otorohanga Bowling Club paid their annual visit to Te Awamutu. Mr H. C. Rainey welcomed the visitors, but regretted that conditions were not the best for such an occasion. He hoped that in future more visits would be interchanged between the two clubs, and now that Saturday closing was in vogue, perhaps full-day games could be arranged. Mr C. Whyte, vicepresident of the Otorohanga Club, briefly replied on behalf of the visitors. The games resulted in four wins each, points being Te Awamutu 165, Otorohanga 145.
