THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
Sir, —The abolition of the Legislative Council has been a plank in the platform of the Labour Party for the last forty years. In view of recent appointments and prominent members of the party becoming honourables, is the tail wagging the dog ? We all know’ the Upper House is overdue for an appendicitis operation.—l am, etc., OBSERVANT.
