Y.F.C. DANCE
COLOURFUL SCENES An enthusiastic crowd of dancers filled the Town Hall last night, the occasion being the Young Farmers’ Third Annual Dance. Excellent music and a good floor kept the crowd in the right spirit throughout the evening. The hall was tastefully decorated with punga ferns and rhododenrons. Above the stage was the Young Farmers’ Club badge beautifully made with spring flowers. A delightful savoury supper, a credit to the Women’s Division, was enjoyed by all. The duties of M.C. were in the capable hands of Mr C. Eyre. Competitions were won by Miss M. Carey and Mr Basil Ray, and Miss McKenzie and Mr J. Merring. Extras were played by Miss L. Jenkins and Mr Tracy Sklenars. Dancing continued till a late hour when.the National Anthem brought another happy function to a close.
