Sheep and Cattle Prices
.At Frankton on Tuesday, reports the Farmers ’Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited, prime-qual-ity wethers were in good demand at slightly better rates than at the previous week’s sale, hoggets, too, were firmer. Fat ewes showed a slight rise in value, and spring lambs sold freely. Ox beef met a steady demand, and last week’s higher values were maintained; cow and heifer beef was in short supply, and the offering sold freely on a firm market.
