MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The meeting of the committee was held in the Courier office on Monday, the president, Mr A. Betts, being in the chair. Delegates were present from United, HuJ Mai, High School, Rovers, Pirongia, Primary School, Old Boys, Ohaupo, Te Awamutu, Referees’ Association. The, secretary, Mr Carter, and treasurer, Mr Hopcroft, were also present. Routine matters arising out of the minutes and correspondence were dealt- with. Reports from the managers of junior A and B and 4th grade representative teams were received. Various accounts submitted were passed for payment. Presentation of Trophies: It was resolved that trophies won by teams in the various grades be presented at the invitation of the Old Boys’ Committee, at the Old Boys’ Football Dance on Saturday. A financial statement »from the treasurer was tabled, received and discussed by the committee. Meeting of Sub-committee: Mr Wishart reported that the. sub-com-mittee appointed by the management committee had held its initial meeting. The Management Committee members were asked to make it known to their club members and also to all others interested, that the sub-com-mittee would welcome information and evidence on all aspects of football. Any member of the public who wishes to take an interest in the matter was invited to contact Mr R. S. Sinclair, chairman, or any of the sub-commit-tee members, Messrs Ensor, Reynolds, Bainbridge, Wishart, Elliott, and Hopcroft. Seven-a-side Tournament: It was resolved that a seven-a-side tournament for third grade and fourth, %rade teams be held on Saturday. Fixtures: These were: - Seniors: Final, Rovers v. Pirongia. at Albert Park, Knockout. Juniors: Hui Mai v. Parawera at Hui Mai. Ohaupo v. Te Awamutu at Albert Park. Seven-a-side, 3rd and 4th grade, at Albert Park, No. 3 ground. Mr Hopcroft was appointed to control the seven-a-side tournament.
