Fair Exchange?
When welcoming the Australian Rugby footballers at Timaru the Mayor said he was a great believer in exchanges of opinions, and would suggest that this country lend some of its politicians to place the political situation in Australia on a right level if Australia would lend the Dominion some of its cricket coaches, to put our game on a higher plane.( Laughter.) Mr Hannan added that as cricket was to them, so football was to us a national game.
