Championship Matches
Whether championship matches should be played compulsorily on Saturday mornings, as proposed by Mr T. Grant, was vigorously debated at last night’s meeting of the Te Awamutu Bowling Club. After a lengthy discussion and the moving of two amendments, one of which was defeated, it was finally decided on an amendment moved by Mr H. Andrew, that such matches should be played on Saturday mornings, and on any week day pr evening.’
