ROAD EVENTS SATURDAY’S RESULTS (Contributed) The weekly senior cycle race run by the Te Awamutu Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club over a course to Te Kawa Crossroads and back, was run under ideal conditions last Saturday. The first man, G. Adams, was on the way at 2 o’clock, followed at intervals by the others, till the scratch men, Robertson and G. Redgate, left 7min later. G. At Kihikihi the scratch bunch had caught the middle markers and were still making up time, but N. Robertson also got fastest time, his time for the journey being 29min 24sec, G. Redgate being second fastest with 29 min 24 l-ssec.
