WAITOMO ELECTORATE At the annual meeting of the Waitomo National Party delegates on Tuesday, there was an attendance of 75 delegates, representing all subbranches in the electorate. Mr C. S. Alexander presided. Also present were Mr H. E. Walters, divisional chairman and Mr N. Moffatt, divisional secretary. Mr W. J. Broadfoot, the sitting member, gave a brief address, touching on matters discussed at the last caucus mieeting in Wellington, and indicating policy questions now coming forward. Mr C. S. Alexander was re-ap-pointed chairman, delegates speaking in high appreciation of his past services. Special reference was made to the report and balance sheet, which indicated a strong interest in the electorate. The executive was re-appointed with a few additional members to be made fully representative of all branches. Other appointments included delegates to the divisional annual meeting. Messrs C. S. Alexander, H. E. Walters, R. Boddy, BSymes, Mesdames Reeve-Smith and Pye. Delegates to the divisional executive, Messrs C. S. Alexander and R. Boddy. Delegates to the Dominion conference, Mr C. S. Alexander and Mrs Reeve-Smith. Two delegates are still to be appointed from the southern end of the new electorate. The meeting was most enthus’'.astic, with progressive reports coming in from? all parts of the electorate.
