COLLISION WITH CAR
MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED NGAHAPE FARMER IN HOSPITAL As a result of a collision with a car on Sunday, Mr Henry Walter Albert Broad, son of Mr Harry Broad, farmer, of Ngahape, w’as admitted to the Waikato Hospital with concussion and a fractured skull. At 1.45 p.m. Mr Broad was riding his cycle along a side road. On entering the Great South Road about six miles south of Te Awamutu he collided with a car driven by Mr Leo Ronald Coleman, of Okahukura. Mr Bread was thrown to the ground. After being attended by Dr K. N. Hiskens, of Te Awamutu, he was taken by St. John ambulance to the Waikato Hospital. Mr Broad is reported as doing as well as can be expected.
