CARD EVENING
RED CROSS FUNCTION The fortnightly card evening arranged by the Te Awamutu Red Cross Society was held in the depot on Saturday night and a pleasant time was spent by all. Prize-winners were: 500, Mrs D. Jukes; bridge, Mrs Kuck; competition, Mrs Brooks. Among those present were Mesdames C. G. Downes, S. Rickit, J. F. Brooks, M. Dawson, H. C. Rainey, S. Clark, H. J. Boryer, Bluck, Shutte, Hopping, Mensforth, J. Irwin, E. Woon, D. Jukes, Ryan (Kihikihi), G. O. Jourdain, S. Houston, Farrell, Tuck, A. G. Warburton, S. Dowds, D. McArthur and L. Marsh, and Miss O’Connor and Sister Hayward.
