Deputy Superintendent J. Dalton is at present visiting Wellington, where, as delegate of the Te Awamutu Fire Brigade, he is attending the United Fire Brigades’ Conference now in progress.
Constable H. J. D. Carseldine, of Eketahuna, who until a little over a year ago was a member of the police force in Te Awamutu, is spending a few days in Te Awamutu, where he has already renewed many old friendships.
