SWIMMING
CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS FINAL OF SERIES There were some splendid contests at the Te Awamutu Swimming Club championships on Saturday. There was a fair attendance of the public at the municipal baths. The men’s championship was won by L. Wanklyn, the ladies’ championship by Miss Valerie Smith, who also annexed the Weatherell Cup. The Middlebrook Cup was won by R. Horan.
