UNIQUE SERVICE
TE AWAMUTU INNOVATION A unique service is given by the Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company Limited to its suppliers, it being the only dairy company in the Dominion which issues the following information. This week each supplier will receive a copy of the whole of his financial transactions with the company for the year elided 31st March. It shows those items which every taxpayer views with concern these days, namely, the total amount noted for the information of the Commissioner of Taxes. Then details are given under separate headings, including deductions made from the supplier’s monthly cheques for butter, benzine, manure, general goods, etc. Finally, if a supplier has given any assignment against his cheques to Government departments or stock firms, or even for payment of monthly. instalments of life insurance premiums, all these items are shown separately in the return.
It is safe to say that provision of this information saves many a headache to the busy farmer.
