VEHICLE REGISTRATION

LATE RUSH OVER 1500 TO DATE A long queue of motorists waiting to register their vehicles was present at the Te Awamutu Post Office for most of yesterday, although Tuesday was the last day of registration. Motorists who have not availed themselves, of earlier opportunities to register were confronted by a long wait before being attended to. Although the queue was a long one throughout the day, the limited staff handled registrations quickly, and it was only the faulty completion of forms that caused long waits. To date 1591 registrations have been taken out locally.
