SUCCESSFUL DANCE
GIRLS’ CRICKET CLUB The Te Awamutu Girls’ Cricket Club dance, held at the Town Hall on Saturday evening, attracted a fair crowd, a successful function resulting. Music was supplied by Mrs Holmes’ orchestra, and Mr S. McFie officiated as master of ceremonies. Extras were kindly supplied by Miss O. Laurence and Mr Kelly. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Gwen Bishop and Mr Leo Kerr. The evening was brought to a close at midnight with the playing of “God Save the King.”
