INTERCESSION
TO-MORROW’S SERVICE. The usual weekly Intercessory Service will be held in the Town Hall tomorrow, between 12.45 p.m- and 1.15 p.m. All are cordially invited to attend, and come and go as it pleases. All through the night, whatever storms assail us, Passion or train, despair land shame and loss, Thou, till the day, wilt hold and never fail us, Victor before us of the bitter Cross O God our Father, we thank Thee that Thou art the supreme Reality. We do not live in an orphaned world. We are not the victims of fate, nor the sport of blind chance, but the recipients of a Father’s care. Have we not read: “He that cometh to God must believe that He is ? ” We do believe it now. And Thou art love. Thou lovest us. It is good to be alive with Thee. Any beautiful thing may happen to-day where Thou art working. Do Thou fulfil Thy happy purpose in us because we pray and mean it: '4 “ Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” For Jesus’ sake. Amen.
