POKURU DANCE
TENNIS CLUB FUNCTION. (Own Correspondent.) The Pokuru Tennis Club's dance in the Kakepuku Hall last Tuesday evening proved highly successful in every respect. There was a good attendance of dance-lovers, and the floor .was in excellent order. The music supplied by Strange’s Syncopators was voted by all to be splendid, ds also were extras by Mr D. Fraser. Mr Eric Mark ably carried out the duties of mastex- of ceremonies. .
Monte Carlo competition dances were won by Mr D. Frasex- and partner- and by Mi- R. Smith and partner.
As usual, a very dainty supper was served, and much enjoyed.
