THE TAHAROA SENSATION
THE MISSING INDIAN. INTENSIVE SEARCH CONTINUES An intensive search for the missing Indian, Delu Desai, who has not yet been seen nor heard of since May 7, continues at Taharoa. The search of the sandhills and the dragging of the lake have so far proved fruitless. The Commissioner of Police (Mi D. J. Cummings), who is at present in Hamilton, is expected to visit Taharoa within the next few days. It is likely that when the Waikato Winter Show finished a further detachment of police will be sent to Taharoa to assist in the search, if success has not been achieved by then.
