JUNIOR ADVISORY BOARD, A REVISED DRAW. At last week’s meeting of the Junior Advisory Board, Mr W. Whitton presided over a full attendance of delegates. Permission was granted J. Baxter and 1 . Quinlan to play on Saturday, conditional on them appearing before the Board on the following Thursday. Parawera Club’s nomination for admission to the junior A division was accepted, and the club’s colours, yellow and black hoops, was approved. Mr A. Emmett, of Ohaupo, offered to donate a trophy for the fourth grade competition, and the offer was gladly accepted. It was decided that entries for the seven-a-side tournament ar Albeit Park close on May 19th. Consequent, upon the inclusion of .Parawera Club, the draw for the junior A division was re-made, as follows: — May 14th: Parawera v. Waikeria. at Parawera; Rovers v. Hospital at Te Awamutu: Korakonui a bye. May 21st: Rovers v. Parawera, at Te Awamutu: Hospital v. Korakonui, at Hospital: Waikeria a bye. May 28th: Korakonui v. Waikeria. at Korakonui: Parawera v. Hospital, at Parawera: Rovers a bye. REFEREES FOR SATURDAY. The following referees have been appointed for Saturday’s matches: Stag Competition, Te Awamutu v, Hamilton Ohl Boys, Mr R. L. The King Country Rugby representative and All Black in 1935, 1936 and 1937, W. J. Phillips, made his first appearance on the football field this year when he captained the Kawhia Club team at Kawhia on Saturday last. Phillips once again showed his Rugby prowess, making the powerful runs for which he is known.
